TOGA’s Privacy Policy

Toga Pty Ltd and its related companies (together “Toga”, “we”, “our” or “us”) are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in a transparent and secure way and in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and store your information when you visit or interact with our website.

 

  1. Collection and Use of Personal Information

     

    TOGA collects personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business activities and our relationship with you. We may collect personal information when you visit or use the TOGA website, make an enquiry or request information, communicate with us by phone, email or other means, or submit information through online forms on our website. This may include, without limitation, your name, contact details (such as email address, telephone number and postal address), employment or business details, preferences and any other information you choose to provide.

    TOGA uses your personal information to enable us to provide and improve our products and services to you, including being able to provide you with requested information, as well as obtaining your feedback. We also use personal information to protect our rights and interests, the rights and interests of other TOGA clients and prospective clients and to comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations. While you are not obligated to provide any personal information to us, if you do not provide requested personal information, TOGA may be unable to respond to your enquiry or provide certain products or services.
  1. Marketing Communications

    Where you receive electronic marketing communications from us, you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the relevant communication. If you no longer wish to receive information from TOGA, you can advise us of your wish by contacting customercare@toga.com.au.
  1. Disclosure of Personal Information

    TOGA may disclose personal information to other companies within the TOGA Group, and to external service providers, contractors, suppliers and consultants who assist TOGA in operating its business and providing products or services.  TOGA may also disclose personal information to professional advisers, and to regulatory authorities, government agencies and law enforcement bodies, where required or permitted by law.  TOGA takes reasonable steps to ensure that third parties who handle personal information on its behalf do so in a manner consistent with applicable privacy laws.
  1. Cookies and Analytics

    When you visit a TOGA website, we may use cookies and similar technologies to monitor website usage and analyse trends. This may include the automatic collection of certain information such as your IP address, domain name, pages visited and date and time of access. Cookies do not generally identify you personally, however information collected through cookies and similar technologies may constitute personal information in certain circumstances. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, although this may affect the functionality of the website.
  1. Storage and Security

    TOGA takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Personal information is held in secure systems and is only accessible by authorised personnel.
  1. Access, Correction and Complaints

    You may request access to personal information that TOGA holds about you and to request correction of that information if it is inaccurate, out‑of‑date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.  Requests for access or correction should be sent to customercare@toga.com.au.

    TOGA will respond to such requests within a reasonable period and in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. In some circumstances, TOGA may refuse access or correction as permitted by law, in which case we will provide written reasons for the refusal.

    If you have a complaint about how TOGA has handled your personal information, including an alleged breach of the Australian Privacy Principles, you may contact TOGA at customercare@toga.com.au. TOGA will investigate the complaint and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
